gordon Dahlby, ph.d.—At-Large Representative

Gordon Dahlby has more than twenty years of experience as a director of curriculum and technology for the West Des Moines Community School District and his thirty-fifth year in K–12 education.  West Des Moines is a suburban district of 8800 students in central Iowa. Gordon has been an active member of the state technology organization, serving as president, conference chair, and a Board member. Gordon is very active in ISTE, serving as a representative for Organizational Affiliates and as president for SIGTC, special interest group for technology coordinators.  Currently he serves ISTE on two board committees. He has shared his expertise through writings and given several presentations, forums and panels at NECC and Iowa's state conference. Gordon is also an active member of COSN and NSBA's ITTE. His doctorate is from IowaStateUniversity in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies.
