Grupo Educare is a Research Center that develops programs, projects and resources that provide important advantages in the teaching and learning processes. Grupo Educare offers programs for IT, Higher Thinking Skills, Constructive Mathematics and more.

In 1992, Grupo Educare started creating products to support educational institutions in the implementation of technology in education. Nowadays, Grupo Educare has over 40 distribution offices and has become one of the most important educational and technology leaders in Latin America. More than 1.700 schools are using Educare’s programs, mainly in Spanish speaking countries.

A very integral organization, Grupo Educare provides educational software, professional development, books, teacher and student guides, certification programs, consulting and support services. Educare’s comprehensive approach works by giving schools all they need to successfully implement an IT educational program.

Success Stories:

The Educational Computing Program, created by Grupo Educare, is currently used in over 1500 schools in Latin America and Spain. More than 400000 students and 3000 teachers have been benefited by using our materials, software, professional development tracks and services.

The Educational Computing Program consists of a group of resources and services designed to help schools to obtain what we call a “Technology culture”, that involves all members of the school system. Grupo Educare continuously improves these resources to offer a solid  platform that has changed paradigms about the use of computers in education in Latin America.

In most schools in Latin America, computer integration is still a wish. Teachers are rarely involved with technology and the computer labs are only a place where hardware and software training is given to students. With Eduacre’s resources, computers in schools are now used as a teaching, learning and communications tool, involving students, teachers, administrators and parents.

Grants & Philanthropic Opportunities:

Educare’s department of Social Responsibility has several projects. Our most successful project now is “Educando con papas”, which means Educating with parents. Several years ago, Microsoft LATAM created a program to train public school teachers in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The program, called “Alianza por la educación”, has been upgraded with the participation of Grupo Educare to extend the benefits to over twenty thousand parents of elementary school graders.

“Alianza por la Educación” and “Educando con papas” mean opportunity for the Mexican education. These initiatives provide learning resources that give non-computerized adults access technological skills that can make a difference in their present and future jobs, and as a consequence, in their family and community. You can take a first look to some of the resources in www.educandoconpapas.com

Being a socially responsible company, Grupo Educare recognizes the importance of participating in causes that benefit the the society.
