| Oracle is committed to using its technology to deliver innovation in education and develop the next generation of learners and leaders. Through the Oracle Education Foundation, Oracle hosts the following collaborative learning programs:
Think.com is a free protected online community helping teachers improve student performance and inspire creativity. With their own Think.com Web sites and e–mail accounts, students are motivated to create Web pages and online projects, write articles and hold debates, send e–mails and sticky notes. Children collaborate on projects that build a sense of ownership, audience, and cross–cultural understanding. http://www.think.com/.
ThinkQuest is an award–winning competition in which student teams are challenged to create the best educational Web sites. Working together, participants enhance their critical thinking, project management, organizational, and technical skills. The students' sites are published in the ThinkQuest Library, a learning resource used by millions. http://www.thinkquest.org/.
Oracle Corporation also offers the Oracle Academy, instructing secondary school students in database and Java technologies. Students graduate with marketable design and programming skills, and proficiency in problem solving, managing projects, and presenting. Academy instructors benefit from high quality professional development, a Web–based curriculum, and an online development environment. http://www.academy.oracle.com/.
