Hello, ISTE Affiliates!
I’m excited to welcome you to the premier edition of the Affiliate Network News. This newsletter is meant to keep you in touch, showcase accomplishments of Affiliates, and offer how-to’s that you can replicate. I already know I’ve got too much info for one issue, but that’s a good problem to have. That means there’s a lot going on, and plenty of ideas to share to help strengthen your organization and our network.
Call for Content
This new tool will only be valuable with your participation. Please send me stories, announcements, best practice summaries, events, photos, etc., that are going on with your association. I am on newsletter and listserve mailing lists for several Affiliates, and I review them often. If you have not yet added me to your mailing list, please do. I also collect info from other avenues such as the Affiliate wiki, ISTE Web site and newsletters. This newsletter will be quarterly, with this one being somewhat introductory. You can submit content any time but please alert me of time-sensitive material.
What Can I Do with this Newsletter?
Don’t be stingy – please share. You can forward it or reprint any or all parts of this newsletter unless instructions are given regarding specific articles. If you submit info for publication, please know that it may be reprinted and include permissions requests if necessary.
What do You Think?
As always, your feedback is so important. Please let me know how you’re using this, things that are especially helpful, suggestions for content/delivery, etc. You can e-mail me, post to the listserve, or post thoughts on the discussion section of the wiki.
Enjoy!
