ISTE Books – Reading, Buying, and Selling
ISTE books can be an excellent resource for you, your organization, and your members:
- As an individual ISTE member, you can purchase books at up to a 35% discount (35% for premium members, 30% for all others).
- As an Affiliate member, your organization can purchase books at a 30% discount. This is a great way to get a few titles for your leadership, staff, or resource library.
- As an Affiliate, your organization can purchase multiple copies of books at a deep discount and sell at your professional development events. Generally you can purchase at a 45% discount, then sell them at the price you set. Most groups round the purchase price to a flat dollar amount, and sell them at a price somewhere between the member and retail price – but it’s up to you.

ISTE Membership Options for Your Members
ISTE recently expanded membership choices to better meet the needs of all those interested in ISTE membership. One new category is the “International Online” membership, which is available to anyone outside the U.S. It offers the same benefits of a Standard ISTE membership but these members will receive Learning & Leading with Technology online/email rather than in print, saving a lot of money and time. This membership is available for only $49 USD per year.
Your members continue to receive a discount on their ISTE membership for any category of Standard membership or above. Typically, that means instead of $89, your members pay $79 for a Standard membership within the US, and $30 off the Premium membership, making it just $179. Different rates apply to members residing in countries outside the U.S. due to shipping costs.
