Benefit Buzz
Helpful reminders about how to participate in the many benefits of ISTE’s Affiliate Program.
Share ISTE Content With Your Members ** NEW **
As an ISTE Affiliate representative, you have a great opportunity to share valuable ISTE resources and information with your members. Our aim is to strengthen the relationship between your organization and ISTE, disseminate helpful information to all who share our vision, and provide you with a robust menu of content for your member communications.
This Affiliate program benefit has been vastly improved to offer a wide range of content for your use without financial and logistical burden to you. There are a number of resources that are always available at no cost, such as ISTE Update, membership announcements, Washington Notes, staff-generated articles in Learning & Leading with Technology (L&L), and more.
The bonus is that now your Affiliate may republish up to four feature articles a year from L&L at no cost, plus two articles from the journals (JRTE or JCTE). Additional articles beyond those have been greatly reduced in price to make them affordable.
All the details about what’s available and how to access content are spelled out in a helpful chart on the Affiliate wiki. We also sent these instructions via the Affiliate listserve in mid-March.
As you begin to use these materials, please post your comments and suggestions on the wiki. We’d love to hear which articles and pieces of information are most helpful to your membership, and how you’re using the content.
A special thank you to Ralph Leonard, president of ACCE in Austraila, for his leadership with this topic, and to all of you who participated in the survey. Your input was invaluable.
