March 2008
Hello ISTE Affiliates,
It’s been said the holidays are the busiest time of year but I bet we’d tend to disagree, right? Conferences abound, plans for NECC are heating up, spring break is just around the corner, and for our Australian friends, the new year has really gotten into full swing. Whatever your schedule, I know it’s full. But we do hope you find this edition of the Network News to be worthy of stopping and reading for a few minutes. Many of you have contributed and that’s excellent! Thanks for sharing your ideas and expertise with all of us.
In this issue: news about an improved Affiliate benefit that allows you to republish featured articles from selected ISTE publications – at no cost! Plus best practices regarding conference planning, Web sites, organizational structure, and much more.
Please remember to visit and contribute to the Affiliate wiki, http://affiliates.iste.wikispaces.net. Bookmark it, add an RSS feed, or do what you need to make that “oh yeah” happen so you remember to use it. You’ll find announcements, resources, benefits explanation, and ideas from your fellow Affiliate leaders. Also, please share the information in this newsletter with your leaders and members.
Thanks for your time.
