Lisa Grable

[Photo]Experience:
Since 1999, Lisa has served as the Director, Center for Learning Technologies, which has recently expanded into the Learning Technology Resource Center. She coordinates MEGA (Middle Educator's Global Awareness) which has approximately 200 teachers as members statewide; is the College of Education's webmaster; and coordinates and instructs within a variety of instructional technology courses and workshops for teachers in schools and faculty in the college. She served as the coordinator of Computer Aided Instruction in the Department of Physics, NCSU, from 1983–1996 and before that was a science teacher. Lisa is actively involved in helping teachers integrate technology into their classroom instruction in meaningful ways, and has a number of on-going activities and groups that she works with at NCSU involved in outreach to teachers and students in K–12 classrooms across the State. For the past three years Lisa has been involved in the judging and final judging of the Multimedia Mania Awards program. She, together with a team of colleagues, is going to be involved in another revision of the Multimedia Mania rubric.
