Experience:
Since 1983, I have served as the coordinator of the graduate programs
in Instructional
Technology, Department of Curriculum and Instruction, College of
Education,
North Carolina State University. We offer a master's in IT for
K12 teachers
with accompanying licensure at the masters level in NC as an
Instructional
Technology Specialist in the schools (007). We also offer a Ph.D. in
Curriculum
and Instruction with a focus in IT, with accompany doctoral level
licensure
as an Instructional Technology Specialist (007). I work with teachers
in integrating
technology into their classrooms, and teach courses in multimedia
applications,
web applications, and instructional technology at the graduate level.
For the
past two years I have co-directed the Multimedia Mania Awards program.
I, together
with team of colleagues, helped to revise the Multimedia Mania 2002
rubric.
