Ellen S. Vasu

[Photo] Experience:
Since 1983, I have served as the coordinator of the graduate programs in Instructional Technology, Department of Curriculum and Instruction, College of Education, North Carolina State University. We offer a master's in IT for K–12 teachers with accompanying licensure at the master’s level in NC as an Instructional Technology Specialist in the schools (007). We also offer a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in IT, with accompany doctoral level licensure as an Instructional Technology Specialist (007). I work with teachers in integrating technology into their classrooms, and teach courses in multimedia applications, web applications, and instructional technology at the graduate level. For the past two years I have co-directed the Multimedia Mania Awards program. I, together with team of colleagues, helped to revise the Multimedia Mania 2002 rubric.

MAT Mathematics Education, Cal State University, San Diego
Ph.D. Educational Psychology—Statistics and Measurement, Southern Illinois University at Carbondale
Expertise in Instructional Technology in K–12 and university settings. Content area: math, research methods and statistics.
