Editor's Remarks
Members Only Building on Our Early History (PDF, 25 KB, 19 sec, PDF Instructions)
Ann Thompson
As we rapidly approach the 20th anniversary for JCTE, I would like to begin a year focused on understanding and learning from the relatively short history of technology in teacher education. For our 20th anniversary, we will select a seminal article from our early years and use the article as a discussion piece for readers. Suggestions for the selection of this article are most welcome.

Members Only Keeping On, Not Just Keeping Up: Professional Development through Active Participation (PDF, 574 KB, 7 sec, PDF Instructions)
Ann Cunningham
One year after the ISTE/NECA merger, and following another great NECC, it pleases me to report that our organization has far exceeded our goals and objectives for 20022003 while managing to prosper during organizational transition.

Kara Dawson, Rose Pringle, and Thomasenia Lott Adams
Finding exemplary classrooms, locating willing teachers, and preparing preservice teachers for the experience makes administering field components very complex. This complexity is multiplied by the need to provide preservice teachers with opportunities to observe and participate in successful technology-enhanced classrooms.
