Changes: A Movement to Online Publishing
James Bartlett
As you can see, there have been some changes for the Journal of Online Learning. This is the first issue available online. This format will continue for the journal. Also, this is the first issue of JOL I have had the opportunity complete as interim editor. Since taking on editor responsibilities for the journal, I have found the refereeing process challenging. It is nice to see the finished product now.
Even though I have enjoyed working as editor, I will be stepping down. Recently, I have taken a position in the Human Resource Education Department at the University of Illinois and will be working with the National Dissemination Center for Career and Technical Education. This new position has changed my roles, directions, and responsibilities. I still plan to play an active role with the journal as an associate editor.
Within this issue are five articles, several of which were in the review process or completely reviewed before my term of interim editor.
