President's Message

Photo of Nola holding a trout

Nola has discovered fly fishing. Here is a recent catch at Lake Rotorua
where the rainbow trout were very obliging.

Kia ora, Greetings

I welcome you to the ISTE's SIGTel Bulletin, where you will be able to keep up to date with the events and celebrations of this group of telecommunicators from around the world.

The SIGTel Officers for the 2004-2005 year represent four different countries with four of us outside North America. This international flavour is reflected in our SIGTel Bulletin.

My compliments go to our Editors, Tuiren Bratina and Zella Boulware from the University of North Florida. They continue to work hard to maintain the SIGTel Bulletin online and it has been most successful. The SIGTel Bulletin is a repository of peer-reviewed articles about telelearning.

The success of our online Bulletin is dependent on the continued flow of contributions from the telecommunications community. I encourage you to either offer your services as a reviewer or to submit articles to share with our readers and enhance our understanding in this field.

Nola Campbell
