Camilla Gagliolo Named as New SIG Rep to ISTE Board
 The SIG community welcomes Camilla Gagliolo as its new representative to the ISTE Board and chair of the SIG Council, the advisory group of SIG volunteer leaders.
ISTE members elected five new board members this Spring, including Gagliolo, who currently works as the instructional technology coordinator for Arlington County Public Schools in Virginia. In this capacity, Gagliolo helps facilitate and lead technology integration to enhance teaching and learning for students. Her passion for innovation in education has made her an international leader in implementing new technologies across all curriculum areas.
An active ISTE member and volunteer, Gagliolo most recently served on ISTE’s international committee, and as the SIGTC (technology coordinator) president, terms that were both ending this Spring.
As SIG representative, she hopes to advance the work of the ISTE Board in improving teaching and learning by adding a practitioner’s perspective from both public and private educational institutions. Another of her key goals is to amplify the “I” in ISTE by sharing her understanding of international education.
The SIG Program congratulates Camilla, and thanks her for her continued support of ISTE.
