SIG News: December 2008

Welcome to SIG News, the newsletter for ISTE's Special Interest Group Program. Historically, this newsletter has been published quarterly, but with the SIGs undertaking more and more activities, four times a year may no longer suffice. The next few issues, as an experiment, will come bimonthly. Please feel free to contact me at avanderford@iste.org if you have any suggestions -- in terms of the newsletter's content or frequency.
The SIGs have been busy this fall, and this issue of SIG News includes updates on their webinars and publications, as well as announcements about upcoming opportunities.
Now is a great time to get more involved in your SIG, not only by participating in these activities, but by joining your SIG's leadership. Nominations for SIG Officer Elections open in January, but the information on the available positions is online now.
Thanks for reading. And here's looking forward to a great 2009!
Cheers,
Audrey Vanderford
