They include providing ongoing sustained, collaborative time for teachers to explore and share resources, providing a “human infrastructure” (Lei, 2005) of people that can help teachers incorporate new technologies into their teaching practices during the school day, and providing Web 2.0 tools that can serve as portals for teachers to share electronic resources beyond the school day. [Read more]

SIG Recommended Sessions

Each year, SIG Officers sift through the hundreds of accepted sessions and workshops to find the events most relevant to their SIG's focus and mission. This year, these recommendations were incorporated into the NECC program search. Simply visit the NECC Program Search page and scroll down to the "SIG Picks" box. Click on one or more SIGs to search for the recommended sessions and workshops chosen by that SIG's Officer group. Before you schedule your NECC time, be sure to note any SIG Picks that pique your interest!
