Welcome to SIG News, the bimonthly newsletter for ISTE's Special Interest Group Program.
It's hard to believe NECC 2009 is less than two weeks away! The SIG Leaders and ISTE Staff have been busy gearing up for the multitude of events we're planning for NECC in Washington DC, including annual meetings, sponsored sessions, workshops, forums, and playgrounds. In addition, there are many new officers who have joined our ranks and who will officially assume their duties at NECC.
In this issue, you'll find information about the SIGs’ recommended sessions at the conference, and you can take a sneak peak at all the events the SIG Officers have been hard at work organizing.
Please take the time to read about the activities of your peers and consider getting involved in the SIG Program. If you'll be at NECC, we hope to meet you in person!
