NETS for Students 1998
Released in 1998, the original ISTE NETS for Students identified skills and knowledge every student needed to succeed in the technology and information environment emerging at the time. Widely acclaimed, the NETS for Students 1998 were also widely adopted, adapted, or referenced. At the state level, 48 of the 50 states have used at least one set of standards in their state technology plans, certification, licensure, curriculum plans, assessment plans, or other official state documents (See 2003 report).
