Refreshing the NETS for the Digital Age

ISTE is committed to keeping the NETS relevant in today's increasingly digital world. We have embarked on a collaborative three-year process to engage educators and stakeholders in updating the NETS for Students, Teachers, and Administrators.

Project Timeline

• Refresh the NETS for Students by June 2007
• Refresh the NETS for Teachers by June 2008
• Refresh the NETS for Administrators by June 2009

NETS Refresh News

ISTE heard from educators across the country and around the world who weighed in on the refresh of the NETS for Administrators. ISTE leaders are now finalizing the draft standards, which will be released at NECC in Washington, D.C. in June.
