Description

The Intel® Teach Program is a proven, worldwide professional development program that helps educators enhance 21st century learning through the effective use of technology. The program delivers a range of offerings which includes both in person and online instruction and incorporates relevant and useful online tools and resources.

Through a sustained public-private partnership with educators and governments, the program builds local competency for educator professional development through customized offerings and training networks. It is the most successful educator professional development program of its kind. With over 3 million teachers trained in 35 countries, the program has been driving systemic change in teaching and learning since 1999.

The latest Intel Teach offering is the Intel® Teach Getting Started Course. Getting Started serves an introduction to classroom software productivity tools and student-centered approaches to learning. Getting Started:

• Develops 21st century teaching and learning skills and approaches, such as student-centered instruction, critical thinking, and collaboration;

• Involves planning, executing, reviewing, and sharing meaningful and relevant teacher activities;

• Requires the development of an individual action plan detailing how each teacher will apply new skills and approaches to enhance productivity and professional practice over time.
