Implementing the Refreshed NETS•S
ISTE developed this free online course to help school administrators, peer coaches, professional development providers, and other education leaders enhance their skills in identifying and supporting effective use of technology as a tool for teaching and learning. This self-paced course can be completed at your convenience from school, the office, even at home.
The module covers two topics: the refreshed National Education Technology Standards for Students, and the Essential Conditions for implementing these standards. You will have opportunities to view examples of the NETS•S in action and think about ways to incorporate these standards into your own lesson plans. At the end of this module, you will create a lesson plan that incorporates the refreshed NETS•S, and have access to lesson plans created by others as part of this course. This self-paced module can be completed at your convenience.
