ISTE co-hosted
The Computer Science & Information Technology Symposium 2004

on March 6, 2004, in Norfolk Virginia (during the ACM SIGCSE
2004 Conference).
This was a great opportunity for free professional development
for high
school computer science and computer applications teachers,
featuring
concurrent and general sessions focused on critical issues for
teachers
including:

- Attracting Women
to Computing
- Building
a CS
Curriculum
The
Computer Science
and Information Technology Symposium provides professional
development
opportunities for Grade 912 computer science and computer
applications
teachers who need practical, relevant information to help them
prepare
