ISTE Leadership Symposia

[ISTE Leadership Symposium]

ISTE Leadership Symposium 2003

Celebrating its 10th year, the ISTE Leadership Symposium was well attended by national and international leaders and administrators in educational technology. This year's theme, Informing the National Educational Technology Agenda: U.S. and International Perspectives, encouraged participants to establish a shared vision that will ensure success in achieving global educational goals. Keynote speakers included John Bailey, Director Educational Technology, U.S. Department of Education; Margaret Honey, Vice President, Education Development Center; and Wendy Hawkins, Director of Education, Intel Innovation in Education. International educators and administrators shared their country's conditions for success and Student Symposium participants shared their perspectives on "How Technology Can Change Learning—The Power of the Student Voice."
