Tim Chase
Ever feel like you motorboat around on the surface of the Google Ocean? Take a guided submarine ride into the deeper realms of Google and let yourself freely explore how these tools can be used in your classroom. The tour will take you past advanced search techniques (and give you some tools for how to teach kids to improve their search), through some amazing (truly!) collaboration tools, and end with a glimpse into the arcane world of Google Labs--where you will see what the Googologists are cooking up next. You will love all the new professional and classroom applications of the things you see in this fast-paced webinar!

About the Presenter

Tim Chase is a full-time, in-the-trenches classroom teacher. He taught the first three of his ten years of teaching at a teachers' institute in central China, and the last seven have been in beautiful central Oregon where he lives with his wife, Janet, and their three children. Tim serves on the leadership team of Oregon’s EdTech Professional Development Cadre and is also a leader for the Central Oregon Educational Technology Team.

Passionate about infusing technology into his own teaching and providing opportunity for his students to learn with technology, Tim is an enthusiastic promoter of EdTech in his school, in his district, and throughout Oregon.
