How many times have you heard someone say that we must be prepare our students for the 21st century? There is a big push to teach 21st century skills, but what does this actually mean? In 2007, the International Society for Technology in Education released the technology standards and performance indicators for students. This webinar will go over each of the six standards as well as provide examples of activities and lessons that seamlessly integrate technology. I will also introduce several Web 2.0 tools and show you how they can be used to help meet the ISTE NETS for students. You will leave the session with a deeper knowledge of the NETS-S as well as a list of Web 2.0 tools that you can begin using right away.
