Whether you know how to podcast already or are looking for ideas on how to use podcasting in science, this session is for you.   Pump up lab assignments or have students focus on their observation skills.  Learn the details of publishing and subscribing to podcasts, and gain new ideas for how to use podcasting in your science classroom. Participants will learn how to author a Podcasting session for their science classes and publish it to a wiki.  We use Audacity (freeware for Mac/PC) for simple and complex tasks. We will show participants how to tie their content, curriculum and technology together in meaningful ways that allow them to address both science standards and technology standards.

We will then share sample projects including the exemplary work of students.  These projects focus not only on science but also the technology standards set forth by the NETS-S.  We will also provide a list of ways for participants to find ideas for their specific curriculum.
