
European Information technology leaders leadership conference
From Thursday, January 31, to Saturday, February 2, 2008, the
International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), the
International School of Prague, and the European Council of
International Schools (ECIS) will be hosting the First European
Information Technology Leaders Leadership Conference.
This three-day event is specifically targeted to Information
Technology Directors and School Administrators who are responsible for
the strategic development of Information Technology pedagogy and systems
in their International Schools.
The conference will take place in the city of Prague, Czech
Republic, with sessions hosted at the International School of Prague. The focus of the
conference will be on strategic IT developments, management, and support
of systems in International School settings. The conference format
will be round table discussions, hands-on workshops, panel discussions
and presentations.
There are 20 seats available, and the primary conference participation
is for IT Directors/Administrators of large schools in the ECIS
region.
Conference registration fee is US$300 before October 8,
2007 (Early Bird registration) and then US$350 after
that. Closing date for registration is November 16, 2007. Conference
registration includes lunches, transportation to and from hotel, two
social events on Friday and Saturday (details to follow).

Cancellation policy: Cancellations must be received by email (to dferris@iste.org) no later than
December 31, 2007. Your refund, less a USD$50 cancellation fee,
will be processed within two weeks. After January 1, 2008, cancellations
will be assessed the full registration fee. If you are unable to attend,
please contact Debren Ferris at dferris@iste.org to arrange for a
substitute to attend in your place. There is no charge for this
service.
