Never before has there been a greater need for school districts to provide meaningful and relevant staff development in the area of technology. This Webinar is presented by experienced educators who are actively involved in establishing and maintaining effective professional development. Attendees will learn techniques which will enable them to model the activities when they return to their school districts. These strategies allow attendees to implement successful technology staff development, faculty meetings and "just in time" training sessions. The atmosphere for the Webinar will invite people to ask questions, share their knowledge and contribute ideas. Presenters will engage the participants in creative activities that will help educators make the best use of their resources to improve teaching and learning.

About the Presenters

Janet Corder and Joan Gore are experienced educators, workshop presenters and published authors. They have presented at many state and national conventions and have been chosen as a Top Twenty Workshop at NECC for the past several years. Their books, Successful Solutions for Technology Staff Development and Successful solutions for Technology Integration are based on their work with school districts, service centers and convention attendees throughout the United States. Their goal is to provide project based training plus knowledge of how to successfully embed technology within the curriculum. Since the presenters represent two Texas school districts with very different demographics, they are able to relate to an audience with a wide range of needs. Both presenters have been classroom teachers, technology coordinators assigned to integrate technology at the campus level and currently work at the district level.
