Education Technology Promotion Guide

The ISTE Private Sector Council (PSC) and the Software Publishers Association (SPA) sponsored the Education Technology Promotion Guide to help educators increase awareness, gain support, and raise money for the integration of technology into their schools and districts.

The guide helps build a comprehensive multistep awareness campaign to reach out to parents, educators, and school boards; build partnerships with the business community; reach out to the community at large; develop positive media relations; communication with policy makers; and raise funds.

A supplemental CD-ROM includes a resource database, funding sources, and templates and worksheet on letters to parents, businesses, the media and policy makers.

The Education Technology Promotion Guide and CD-ROM cost $9.00 plus $4.50 shipping and handling (U.S. addresses). To order, contact ISTE at iste@iste.org; phone 800.336.5191; fax 541.346.5890.
