The Research Paper Award, sponsored by ISTE's Special Interest Group for Teacher Educators and presented at ISTE 2010 in Denver, recognizes excellence in research in the area of technology and teacher education. The 2010 winners are Susie Gronseth, Thomas Brush and Anne Ottenbreit-Leftwich from Indiana University, Department of Instructional Systems Technology in Bloomington, Ind.

More than 17,500 educators and exhibit personnel attended ISTE 2010, held at the Colorado Convention Center June 27-30. "The level of engagement and enthusiasm this year was fantastic," said ISTE deputy CEO and conference chair, Leslie Conery.

New officers for the 2010-2011 ISTE board of directors are: Holly Jobe, president-elect; Dan Meyer, treasurer; Kara Gann, secretary; Annette Smith and Ben Smith (no relation) at large representatives. These officers were elected at the June 24-25 board meeting just prior to ISTE 2010 in Denver.
