Campus K12
Campus K12 provides K–12 communities with a patent pending "Opportunities for Excellence" program for Educators. This Excellence program uniquely allows educators to assess their proficiency on any set of standards (ex: NETS•T) with respect to three levels of development, 1) knowledge, 2) application and 3) mastery. The online assessment system includes self surveys and tests as well as mentored portolios in which mentors interact with other educators who create artifacts and actions plans that are evaluated. As the mentored educator reaches mastery level, his/her "best practices" are placed in the knowledge base to be shared with others in the learning community thus completing the cycle.

NCATE
Teaching children—to recognize letters, to read for the first time, to understand how a tree grows—is one of the most important jobs in America. The nation’s future depends, in large part, on how well it is done. NCATE is the profession’s mechanism to help establish high quality teacher preparation. Through the process of professional accreditation of schools, colleges and departments of education, NCATE works to make a difference in the quality of teaching and teacher preparation today, tomorrow, and for the next century.
