Christopher Fuller — At-Large Representative
Christopher Fuller is the director of instructional technology for Urbana School District #116 in Illinois, USA. Prior to joining the Urbana School District, Christopher served as a teacher, technology coordinator, academic instructional technology coordinator, and instructional specialist with Prince George's County Public Schools (Maryland, USA). His responsibilities included acting as the Blackboard system administrator and Discovery Education Streaming account manager, and chairing the school district's annual technology conference, Powering Up With Technology.
As a middle school teacher, Christopher worked enthusiastically with fellow teachers and district administrators to integrate technology into the curriculum and provide technology training in an effort to transform student learning experiences.
Christopher is a Maryland Technology Academy Fellow and has been a member of the Maryland Society for Educational Technology (MSET), an ISTE affiliate, since 2001. While at MSET, he participated and presented at annual conferences and became more involved in the association by serving as conference assistant chair, advocacy co-chair, and executive board member.
As an ISTE member, Christopher has participated in several events, such as the annual Leadership Symposium, Digital Equity Summit, and State Advocacy Building Conference, and chaired the Bring Your Own Laptop (BYOL) sessions for NECC 2009.
Christopher earned a bachelor's degree in economics from North Carolina A&T State University as well as a master's in instructional technology from Towson University, and he is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). His community activities include serving as a commissioner for Urbana Public Television, an assistant football coach with Central Illinois Youth Football League, a Mmntor with the Champaign-Urbana One-to-One Mentoring Program, and a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
