Kari Stubbs — Corporate Member Representative
Kari Stubbs' PhD in curriculum with a technology emphasis and more than a decade of classroom experience give her a unique and multifaceted perspective on the role of technology in learning. She currently serves as vice president of 21st century learning at BrainPOP. Prior to joining BrainPOP, she was the director of professional development at ePals and the senior project coordinator of the Title IID initiative in Kansas, USA.
In 2006, the National School Boards Association recognized Kari as one of “20 to Watch” educational technology leaders. Additional honors include the “Making It Happen” award and the 1997 National Teacher Training Institute Teacher of the Year Award. Kari also sits on the Horizon K12 Report board and is an active member of the CoSN Emerging Technologies and Conference Planning committees. In December 2008, she traveled to China to study technology in education, and she keynoted the TeachME conference in Dubai in 2010.
