SIGIVC promotes the understanding of interactive videoconferencing and related virtual learning technologies within the K–12 education community by advancing collaboration, information dissemination, research, and best practices.

Learn and Lead

SIGIVC’s goal is to encourage and support the use of interactive videoconferencing in conjunction with other virtual learning tools within the K–12 learning community.  SIGIVC strives intends to achieve this goal by developing processes and capacity to perform ongoing collection and analysis of IVC usage data nationally and internationally. In addition this group promotes the creation of a central location for communication within the IVC community and for dissemination of current data, research, and resources, and fostering awareness and advocacy for the use of IVC and other virtual learning tools throughout international learning communities.
