SIGVE: Virtual Environments Special Interest Group

SIGVE provides a focal point around which the diverse interests of ISTE Second Life members – as well as those interested in Open Sim, Active Worlds, Quest Atlantis, or any of the hundreds of developing VEs – can organize their efforts and learn from one another.

Learn and Lead

SIGVE works to build a community of like-minded educators who learn from and teach one another. The group hosts globally synchronous professional development activities for its members, including a monthly speaker series on ISTE Island in Second Life. SIGVE also has a very active online community where members share resources, experiences and projects by both educators and students.
