Volunteer with ISTE
Volunteering is a great way to get involved and contribute to a cause you deeply care about—improving learning and teaching. The active engagement of ISTE’s volunteers ensures that our members have access to a vibrant network full of expertise, mentorship and collegial dialogue.

ISTE’s deepest thanks go to the hundreds of volunteers who contribute their invaluable time, creativity and hard work. If you'd like to share your expertise, expand your professional learning network and boost your resume, consider volunteering with ISTE!
Get recognized for your time
ISTE is an official certifying organization for the President's Volunteer Service Award. Any individual, family, or group can receive presidential recognition for volunteer hours earned during a 12-month period or over the course of a lifetime at home or abroad. Document your time on this form (XLS) and email it to lsuveges@iste.org by May 1, 2013. To learn more about this program, visit presidentialserviceawards.gov.
Opportunities to get involved

The next volunteer opportunity is at ISTE 2013 in San Antonio. You can choose from a variety of interest areas and activities. Volunteers qualify for a great discount on registration and have fun helping to make the conference happen.

Volunteer's perspective
"I’ve been very fortunate to be able to step forward and be a leader and volunteer for ISTE. I think that you often get back more than you give. The opportunity to contribute to the profession, monitor those leading-edge trends, and do something about it is a very important characteristic of a profession. Engaging in volunteer work is very rewarding."
