ISTE's 2006-2007 Technology in Practice Webinar Series
Technology in Practice, ISTE’s first Webinar Series featured seven highly engaging professional development webinars over the course of 2007. Each event featured authors and/or ISTE book topics of wide appeal to ISTE members and non-member educators. Each session was 60 minutes, with approximately 35 minutes of presenter content. The balance of the time featured interactive elements such as audience Q&A and polls, and previews of upcoming ISTE books and events.
ISTE Author, Bard Williams, kicked off the series on January 16, 2007, with the first webinar on Handhelds and Smartphones, and served as the series host for subsequent sessions. The theme of the series, Technology in Practice, highlighted practical tools and strategies to help educators most effectively improve the educational experience and capture value from new and existing technology investments.
