Affiliate membership

We share a common goal: transforming education for all students across the globe. Let’s work together to make it happen. Connect your organization to our worldwide network of like-minded leaders with an ISTE affiliate membership.

Becoming an ISTE affiliate opens the door to invaluable networking, partnership and collaboration opportunities. We work closely with our affiliates to strengthen organizational excellence, increase our impact in educational communities,   advocate on behalf of educators, provide leadership and much more. Through our affiliates, ISTE reaches more than 100,000 educators worldwide.

What it means to be an affiliate of ISTE

ISTE affiliates are autonomous organizations that have chosen to affiliate with ISTE. Organizations may apply to become an affiliate if they:

  • Can provide verification of nonprofit status from their state or country.
  • Have a membership composed of individuals, organizations or both.
  • Have proven methods of communicating with their members.
  • Share ISTE’s mission.

Premier affiliates
Premier affiliates leverage their strategic relationships with ISTE and other affiliates through a robust menu of collaborative opportunities — such as marketing, professional learning and organizational growth efforts — designed to increase their impact on their educational community, grow capacity within their organization, and stretch their outreach and marketing dollars. Any affiliate that employs a full- or part-time executive director will function as a premier affiliate.

Associate affiliates
Associate affiliates maintain a connection with ISTE to share information and resources with their members, but they generally do not participate in collaborative programs. Their affiliation with ISTE adds credibility and impact to their efforts within their educational communities, while their ongoing work in their region helps ISTE expand its reach.
