ATTENTION: We are no longer accepting new subscriptions to HyperSIG. HyperSIG has seen a decrease in interest and activity levels over the past two years, and after gathering input from members, previous HyperSIG leadership, and ISTE staff, the ISTE board voted to dissolve HyperSIG at its September 2006 board meeting.
The nature of ISTE’s Special Interest Group Program tends to be cyclical, as new SIGs are introduced to serve additional populations and topics of interest, and established SIGs are dissolved as interest levels decline around particular topics. There are several potential ideas that surfaced during the process of gathering information from HyperSIG subscribers, such as the introduction of a SIG for gaming.
Current HyperSIG subscribers will receive more information in the coming weeks concerning available options and instructions for selecting other SIGs.
If you are currently a member of HyperSIG, you can select a replacement SIG here: SIG Replacement Form.
