Interactive Video Conferencing SIG
SIGIVC promotes understanding of interactive videoconferencing and related virtual learning technologies within the K–12 education community by advancing collaboration, information dissemination, research, and practices.
SIGIVC’s goal is to encourage and support the use of interactive videoconferencing in conjunction with other virtual learning tools within the K–12 learning community. SIGIVC intends to achieve its goal by developing processes and capacity to perform ongoing collection and analysis of IVC usage data nationally and internationally, promoting a central location for communication within the IVC community and for dissemination of current data, research, and resources, and fostering awareness and advocacy for the use of IVC and other virtual learning tools throughout international learning communities.
