Seal of Alignment for Readiness Statement:

The International Society for Technology in Education completed a careful review of Grupo Educare's student curriculum Information and Technology (Informática y Tecnología) on January 12, 2012. ISTE determined that the resource provides an effective framework for developing technology skills that are prerequisite for achieving NETS proficiencies.

"Information and Technology" () by Grupo Educare, is a digital literacy curriculum for grades 1–6 that can be used by itself or complemented with a set of resources. Educational software is an integral part of the curriculum and there are optional materials, such as teacher's guides, student books, and student CDs. Information and Technology is based on the NETS for Students, and the curriculum features projects that link technology with content.

One of the main components of Information and Technology is professional development. Grupo Educare's research center offers workshops and webinars for education professionals in the integration of technology and education.

Upon completion, Grupo Educare plans to offer students the opportunity to prove their abilities and get a certificate in technology. Teachers can also get a technology immersion teacher certificate.
