In this course, you will explore how to inspire a shared
vision, build capacity for professional learning, and sustain a dynamic
educational
environment thereby re-envisioning yourself
as a change agent for advocacy and leadership. During course activities, NETS-A
indicators are grouped
together to help focus your understanding of the
standards.
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- articulate
the value of the NETS-A as a vehicle for a shift in teaching, leading, and
advocating
-
engage stakeholders and leverage their perspectives in
developing a comprehensive vision of transformation in their educational
environment
- identify the components of a successful plan that brings a
vision to life, including issues of sustainability and capacity
building
- determine mechanisms to meet the
challenges of a digital age learning environment regarding ethics, safety, and
citizenship
