Amber Zuberi —an Education Pioneers Fellow—is the Grants Program Manager at ISTE supporting the learning team.
Amber recently graduated with a Master’s in Public Affair’s from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University with a concentration in international development. Her background is in education, program implementation, and non-profit management. Her experience in the education sector includes both domestic and internationally-focused work. Amber co-founded and was later Acting CEO of Teach For Pakistan, where she played a critical role in developing the program and organization, including the recruitment and placement of four cohorts of teachers and expansion across two regions. She also served as the Strategic Partnership Manager at Futures and Options, a NYC-based non-profit working on career-readiness training with high-school youth. In the summer between her two years in graduate school, she worked in the Education Global Practice at the World Bank supporting reform efforts with the Ministry of Education in Liberia.
She has a BA in Economics from Swarthmore College and is passionate about all things related to education and equity.
