My wife is an elementary science education professor. Unfortunately, computer science fall under the new science standards for our state. Coding should not be exclusively a science standard. For teacher education, it should be integrated into the training teachers get for all their elementary subjects. As a former middle and high school English teacher, I feel like it should be part of their teacher training too.
