Code.org professional learning workshops


Code.org is a leading provider of high-quality, curriculum and professional learning for K-12 computer science focused on engaging all students. Here are some of the CS course offerings:

K-6 Computer Science Fundamentals:

Students study programming concepts, computational thinking and digital citizenship, and develop sharable interactive games or stories.

6-10 Computer Science Discoveries:

This course provides a wide lens on CS by covering topics such as programming, physical computing, HTML/CSS and data. The course inspires students as they build their own websites, apps, games and physical computing devices.

AP Computer Science Principles:

More than a traditional introduction to programming, this is a rigorous, engaging and approachable course that explores many of the foundational ideas of computing so all students understand how these concepts are transforming the world we live in.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2018 Code.org Professional Learning Program for middle and high school teachers and one-day professional development workshops for elementary teachers are available year-round.
