Katie Siemer

Bio: I began my career working at the university level in adult education and the President's Office, while also working with 7th-12th grade students with behavioral issues in an alternative school. I have served as the Director of Educational Technology for a private, 1:1 high school and also at the district level as an instructional technology and web specialist for a low-income, public school district in Ohio. My passion for technology in education brought me to Forward Edge, where I oversee the C and I team. I work closely with our customers' Curriculum Directors, Principals and even Technology Directors to help them identify needs of their staff, plan PD and implement the PD with teachers. Currently, I also serve as the Outgoing President of the Edtech Coaches Network for ISTE, Co-Leader of GEG Ohio, Thought Leader for Future Ready Instructional Coaches, and I am a Google Certified Innovator and Trainer.

 

Gregory Gilmore

Bio: Gregory Gilmore currently serves as the Instructional Technology Coach for Osage Trail Middle School in the Fort Osage R-1 School District. His previous teaching assignments include elementary library and music in grades 5-12. He has presented at the MOREnet, Missouri Choral Directors Association, METC, and Iowa 1:1 conferences. He has also presented ISTE Professional Learning Series Webinars, and has contributed to EdTech Coaches PLN activities held during the ISTE Conference. Mr. Gilmore joined the ISTE EdTech Coaches PLN Leadership team in June 2015 and currently serves as the PLN President. He holds degrees in music performance and education from UCM and the University of Missouri, and an Ed.S. in Educational Technology from the University of Missouri.

 

Ruth Okoye

Bio: Ruth Okoye is the Director of K12 Initiatives at The Source for Learning, the parent company of the TeachersFirst community. Okoye has over 20 years of experience using technology in the classroom and served as the Technology Resource Teacher for Elementary Language Arts in Portsmouth, VA. She holds several teaching endorsements, including Computer Science, Reading Specialist, and PreK-12 Administration and Supervision. Okoye is a Google Educator, Edmodo Certified Trainer, and Microsoft Innovative Educator. She is a member of the leadership team for the ISTE Ed Tech Coaches PLN, and she promotes classroom technology integration as a presenter at local, state, and national conferences.

 

Pam Shoemaker

Bio: Pam Shoemaker is the Instructional Technology Coach for the Walled Lake Consolidated School District in Michigan. She is a Google Certified Trainer and serves on the leadership team of the ISTE Ed Tech Coaches PLN.
